About Me
Welcome to my web page! My name is Marcie. I am a passionate researcher with diverse interests, including healthcare solutions for chronic diseases and Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD) in aging Hispanic communities, behavioral and financial decision-making, and historical and contemporary development challenges. I am interested in casual inference, social determinants of health (SDoH), and AI-driven tools to analyze health disparities, particularly in aging Hispanic populations. My recent research applies machine learning models, acoustic biomarkers, and linguistic analysis to enhance detection of ADRD. Additionally, I investigate how perceived risk influence financial investment decisions and study historical economic systems and modern efficiency trends in industries such as energy and healthcare.
